I have decided that I am most drawn to 'collegiate' homes. Defined {by me} as those that look the part of an esteemed campus...known to architecture buffs as the Georgian Revival style. They look planted. Permanent. And their English grandeur is not lost on me. Siding be damned. I want a hundred year house that has plans to be around another 500 or so.

For $1.7 million you even get your own coat of arms
Care to dine with me under my original hand plastered ceiling?
Maybe we should just chat about my moldings in the sitting room?
If any of it's 26 rooms aren't doing it for you, we could retire to the pool and tennis courts out back.
I wonder if you could ever make 13 thousand square feet of living space cozy?
I sure wouldn't mind trying.
